Join educator leaders for a collaborative learning opportunity focused on building awareness of "what's new" with the Washington State K–12 Learning Standards in:

• English Language Arts
• Mathematics
• Science (Anticipated Release: September)

Participants will engage with the “What’s New” documents and key instructional shifts/experiences across content areas to begin building awareness and understanding of Washington’s updated learning standards and their connections across disciplines FROM A SYSTEMS LENS.

Objectives for the Day:

• Build awareness around currently-released updated content standards and key shifts
• Collaborate with others to develop plans for bringing information back to buildings and/or districts
• Explore further learning opportunities and resources to support implementation

This session is intended for instructional coaches, specialists, and administrators interested in strengthening understanding of Washington’s currently updated learning standards and supporting future implementation efforts.
