This session offers an opportunity for educators interested in exploring the Math Fellows experience. Participants will engage in professional learning focused on effective math instruction, vertical alignment of content, and strategies to support student engagement and success.

During the session, educators will:

• Participate in productive instructional routines that position each learner as capable and enhance mathematical identity and agency.
• Explore how key mathematical concepts grow over time, connecting concrete models, visual representations, and abstract thinking.
• Share and discuss resources and strategies that can be implemented in their classrooms.
• Examine research-based teaching practices, such as those from Figuring Out Fluency (Bay-Williams, 2021) and Building Thinking Classrooms (Liljedahl, 2020), that promote equitable learning and support students’ mathematical reasoning and problem-solving.
• Collaborate with other educators to discuss best practices and receive local, state, and national updates related to mathematics education.
