The 2026 Fall CTE General Advisory Committee brings together Career and Technical Education leaders, educators, counselors, business and industry partners, and postsecondary representatives to strengthen regional connections between education and workforce needs.

Participants will engage in a keynote session focused on preparing students for future education, training, and employment opportunities. Following the keynote, participants will join their CTE Program Advisory Committees to collaboratively develop Career Trees that illustrate career pathways within specific industry sectors. Working alongside industry and postsecondary partners, participants will identify occupations, education and training requirements, credentials, and pathway connections that can help students better understand opportunities within regional career fields.

Participants will leave with a stronger understanding of regional workforce pathways and with collaboratively developed resources that can be used to support career exploration, advising, CTE program development, and student decision-making.
