Join our Elementary Science Liaison Learning Network as we learn more about science teaching and learning. Our focus this year will be on instructional strategies that support science and literacy integration and on advocacy and leadership for elementary science. We will also explore the connections between newly released Washington State Science Learning Standards and commonly used science instructional materials.
2026-2027 Elementary Science Liaison Learning Network Activities
• 2 Learning Days (October 15th and April 20th). 
Lunch and substitutes provided* 9-3:30 pm
• 12 STEM clock hours provided 
• Support communication about science instruction at your building
• Support collection of data (one survey in the winter) 
*substitute reimbursement available for districts that do not have professional development funds to release teachers
