NEWESD 101’s Rural SLP PLC is a space for speech and language colleagues, who typically don’t have the opportunity to meet and interact with each other, to collaborate and learn. Sessions will include current information related to speech and language services such as autism, dyslexia, acquired language disorders, augmentative and alternate communication, and evidence-based practices; discuss best practices, highlighting what is working and what is challenging; educational staff associate requirements; and review local needs of the districts.
