This training is for Administrators who supervise School Nurses or other Administrators who want to gain a deeper knowledge of the school nurse role.

This training will provide resources that can be used to review laws and best practices for student health services. 

Highlighted items that will be reviewed for compliance with RCWs and WACs for best practices are: 

- Confidentiality;

- Registered Nurse delegation;

- Mandated staff trainings; 

- Documentation as required by RCW's and WAC's;

- Emergency care plans;

- Immunization requirements;

- Vision and hearing screening requirements;

- Field trips;

- Summer school nursing requirements.
