Description

This professional development course equips educators with the knowledge and practical strategies to design and implement a comprehensive Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) for social-emotional behavior in K-12 settings. Through evidence-based frameworks, educators will learn to create cohesive systems that promote self-awareness, self-management, self-efficacy, social awareness, social management, and social engagement. The course emphasizes culturally responsive practices, data-driven decision-making, and collaborative approaches to support diverse learners. By the end of this course, participants will be prepared to foster positive school climates where all students develop the social-emotional competencies necessary for academic success and lifelong well-being.

Continue Your Learning: This course is the prerequisite for Preventing and Responding to Problem Behavior Community of Practice. For current offerings, visit ESD 112 MTSS Professional Development Page.
