Description


The High Leverage Practices in Social Emotional Learning three-part professional learning Canvas course will explore trauma sensitive schools, and share resources and tools to support educators in working with their students. We will discuss trauma, its impact on the brain and learning, and examine how to create classrooms that focus on resilience practices. By the end, participants will be versed in a variety of tools and strategies to support a resilient school.

This is a fully Asynchronous Canvas Course.


Asynchronous: The class is delivered entirely online through a LMS. Participants may complete these classes at their own pace.
Canvas: Online Learning Management System (LMS) similar to Blackboard, D2L, or Google Classroom; where course materials, assignments, etc. are accessed and submitted as evidence of completion.
