This full-day learning experience gives educators a practical starting point for understanding the learning standards. In the morning, participants step into the learner's seat. They rotate through literacy, math, and science sessions, experiencing Tier 1 instructional strategies aligned to the updated standards. In the afternoon, educators explore the levels of support available from ESD 123, make sense of the day with colleagues, and bring their questions to a panel of content experts. The day connects the standards to systems educators already have in place focusing on instructional shifts and experiences. Participants will receive Tier 1 instructional strategies to implement in classrooms, a menu of ESD supports matched to their readiness, and a FAQ answering the day's questions.
