Paraeducator Fundamental Course of Study: FCS08 Child & Adolescent Development
This two-hour professional learning opportunity is for instructional paraeducators, K-12. Participants will deepen their knowledge of how developmental stages impact students physically, emotionally, academically and socially. This course covers 2 of the required 28 units of study hours that align with the FCS learning objectives.
Objectives:
Demonstrate knowledge of how developmental stages impact students physically, emotionally, academically and socially
Identify risk factors that may impact student learning and development physically, emotionally, academically, and socially
Identify strategies to assist in the development of student’s sense of social and community responsibility
