Description
Every staff member plays a critical role in creating safe, connected school communities. This training will help school personnel incorporate behavioral data, recognize and respond to worrisome behaviors, briefly talk through threat assessments and discuss incidents of harassment, intimidation, and bullying (HIB). Participants will learn about Washington State law (RCW 28A.600.477) and district policy requirements, including reporting responsibilities, investigation timelines, and supports for students. NOTE: This is not a Level 1 threat assessment training or HIB Compliance Officer training
