This session explores the “why” behind mapping and the reasons Projection Mapping is a critical component for establishing a guaranteed and viable curriculum. With the support of the EdEx coach, identified participants from grade level/content teams will thoughtfully place standards in a year-long format to ensure appropriate pacing and depth, as well as accounting for competing priorities. At future allocated times, school-level teams will use this Projection map as a guide to design individual unit maps and instruction.
