Fluency is more than knowing basic facts. In the book “Figuring Out Fluency: Operations with Rational Numbers and Algebraic Equations” learn to support students in upper elementary, middle, and high school with fluency in fractions, integers, decimals, ratios, and operations with equations through strategy development and practice.    

In this book study participants will engage in reading and learn the meaning of fluency, development fluency with rational numbers, and activities and games to engage our students in joyful learning and practice. 

Jennifer Bay-Williams (co-author) will lead the opening and closing sessions of this book study.  Participants will have the unique opportunity to engage directly with one of the authors.
