There is a heightened need to address the topic of immigration in schools and within school communities that are affecting our education environments.
This webinar will discuss the policies and procedures that exist in the state of Washington to protect students and families. The webinar will share information about student rights, OSPI guidance, inclusionary practices to support students who may be navigating barriers, protections for Immigrant Students in K-12 schools and go through a safety annex in the case of an ICE visit. The last half hour is designated for Q & A.
