Description

This training will address the growing risks youth face from NVE (Non-Violent Extremism), gore groups, sextortion, human trafficking, and grooming/child exploitation in online and gaming spaces. Participants will gain an understanding of what these groups are, how they operate, and the tactics they use to recruit and exploit young people.

The session will explore:

  • How youth are exposed to and drawn into these groups.
  • The behaviors, indicators, and warning signs that a child may be involved.
  • What these groups demand of youth and the dangers they present.
  • Practical strategies to protect youth and strengthen community safeguards.
  • Groups and people who can support youth and communities in prevention and intervention efforts.

This training will also feature special agents from the FBI and Homeland Security working in the field, who will share real-world insights and experiences from their work combating these crimes.

By the end of the training, participants will be better equipped to recognize risks, identify warning signs, connect with resources, and implement protective measures to keep young people and communities safe.
