Level 1 Student Threat Assessment Training

This Student Threat Assessment (STA) training will cover the essential concepts of the Salem-Keizer Cascade Student Threat Assessment System.

This training will review:

The basic principles regarding threat assessment and threat management.
The framework and application of this protocol for implementing a site-based level 1 student threat assessment.
Supportive research and recommendations, to include the process for referral to the level 2 team.
Awareness of youth risk factors.
Access to resources and material.

Target Audience: School administrators, counselors, school psychologists, SROs, case managers, multi-disciplinary and Level 1 teams
