This Manufacturing, Engineering & Welding Community of Practice convening at Edmonds College brings together educators from high school Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs, college faculty, and industry partners to strengthen alignment between high school course outcomes, college course outcomes, and industry needs. 

Attendees will share best practices in CTE instruction, and build partnerships that support student success in career pathways. Advanced Manufacturing, Engineering, and Welding include high-demand career pathways such as aerospace, clean technology, biomedical manufacturing, construction, maritime, and precision fabrication. This event includes guest presenter Kristina Young from The Boeing Company’s Future Workforce department, Manufacturing Technical Skills Expert with a background in Instructional Design.
