This one hour synchronous training brings awareness to Orange Shirt Day, an annual day of remembrance on September 30 that honors the Indigenous children who were forced to attend residential school systems and recognizes the lasting trauma it caused. 

By participating in this training, you will deepen your understanding of the nature of Indian Boarding Schools, the origins of Orange Shirt Day, the impact of Indian Boarding Schools, and considerations of reconciliation in moving forward.
