Hands-On Qmlativ Finance Training

Mark your calendars for a full day of practical, instructor-led Qmlativ training designed to help you build confidence and strengthen your understanding of key finance processes.

Whether you're new to Qmlativ or need a refresher, this bootcamp offers foundational training and hands-on activities that will help you apply what you learn immediately. Attend the sessions most relevant to your role or stay for the entire day to gain a broader understanding of Qmlativ Finance functionality.

Work Between Sessions

A conference room will be available throughout the day for attendees who need to work between training sessions. This makes it easy to carpool, attend multiple sessions, and remain productive while taking advantage of the training opportunity.

Training Schedule

8:30 AM - 10:00 AM - Purchasing & Vendors 101

Learn the basics of managing purchasing and vendor information in Qmlativ, including:

• Building and batch updating purchase orders
• Adding and updating vendors

10:15 AM - 11:45 AM - Accounts Payable 101

Gain hands-on experience with key accounts payable processes, including:

• Creating invoices with and without purchase orders
• Processing invoices through AP runs and check registers

12:45 PM - 2:15 PM - Accounts Receivable 101

Explore the accounts receivable workflow, including:

• Creating and batch updating invoices
• Processing payments through cash receipts
• Applying unapplied payments

2:30 PM - 4:00 PM - Account Maintenance & General Inputs 101

Learn key account maintenance and general ledger functions, including:

• Adding and maintaining account codes
• Managing dimensions, crosswalk validations, and account code groups
• Entering journal entries
• Processing cash receipts

There is a fee to attend NWRDC trainings if your School District does not belong to the NWRDC regional cooperative. Member Districts can attend at no charge. The fee is $400 for classes under 4 hours and $800 for all day classes. A PO is required prior to attendance and can be emailed to regadmin@nwrdc.net.
