Training Change
Hi training attendees,
Thank you so much for signing up to participate in the Sexual Abuse Prevention training originally scheduled for April 27, 2020 from 11:00a.m. to 4:00p.m at Puget Sound Educational Service District. Based on guidance from Governor Inslee I have decided to conduct this training in a webinar format. Here is the Zoom link for the training - https://zoom.us/j/926938124, utilize this link at the time of the training on Monday, April 27 from 11:00 - 4:00p.m. I have allowed a 15-minute check-in window so that folks can start logging in at 10:45a.m. if they are unfamiliar with the software. As for the increased number of service providers for sexual violence/abuse, I will be reaching out to you to determine the best way to showcase your resources and services.
All attendees will still receive clock hours for their attendance.

Description
This 4-hour training provided by the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) in collaboration with the Washington Coalition of Sexual Assault Programs (WCSAP) will deliver a training on sexual abuse prevention and the intersections it has with primary prevention, trauma-informed care, sexual health education, and social emotional learning. We will spend this time familiarizing ourselves with the spectrum of prevention and its overlap with many initiatives already implemented within school buildings. The training has intentional time for schools & districts to connect with community sexual assault/domestic violence organizations within their communities.
Educators: 4 clock hours will be provided.
SA advocates/preventionists: This training approved for 4 ongoing training hours.
