Description
This workshop supports educators in locating assets that could be used in phenomenon-based science. Focusing on neighborhood assets and resources, opportunities, and problem-solving can be a way to build students' investment in science and engineering and a tool for empowerment. We'll work on strategies and tools teachers can use (with or without students) to create and utilize a community asset map.
