Come learn with EarthGen formerly known as Washington Green Schools, in this virtual professional development opportunity designed for K-12 teachers. Participants will have a chance to authentically engage with activities and experts as they grow their understanding how climate change has and will impact their community. Analyze and interpret recent climate science data and explore how a local species is indicative of regional climate change impacts. Teachers will leave with an increased preparedness to leverage a local species or climate change impact in their classroom to spur action in their community.
