This optional in-person training will be hosted around the state with the goal to give you hands-on experience and time to connect with others so you can administer CACFP like a pro! Training topics include Meal Patterns, Staff Training, and Financial Management. Training tracks will be conducted based on sponsor type (Multi-Site/ Affiliated Sponsors; Independent Center Sponsors; At-Risk Program Sponsors). 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Training is free to attend; however, participants must pay for meals, parking, and any overnight stays. OSPI CNS is unable to provide coffee or meals when providing training, we recommend participants to bring snacks, water, and coffee. Additional restaurant and accommodation information will be shared through pdEnroller after you register. 

This workshop is being held at Central Washington University, which requires attendees to pay for parking.

• The fee for parking is $6 for the day. Vehicles with state exempt license plates do not have to pay this fee.
• Attendees should park in lot I-15 or H-15, as they are closest to the Student Union and Recreation Center.
• Parking must be paid with a debit or credit card, using one of the following options:
  • RECOMMENDED: Virtual using the CWU portal. You will be required to create an account and register your car with this option. You may purchase your virtual parking pass no earlier than 6pm on Monday, October 24.
  • On-site at one of the self-serve kiosks. There is one located in the parking lot outside the SURC (lot I-15), as well as other locations around campus. If you elect to use this option, please ensure to arrive at least 15–30 minutes early to alleviate lines at the kiosk.
•  All parking passes are virtual and vehicle hangtags are no longer being used. Parking is monitored by license plate. Those purchasing a permit will need to know the license plate number of the vehicle they will be using the day of training

Format for this Workshop

This workshop will be held from 9:30 am– 4 pm PT. All attendees will be in a general session at the beginning of the day for all sponsor types. After the general session, participants will split up into breakouts by organization type (Multi-Site/ Affiliated Sponsors; Independent Center Sponsors; At-Risk Program Sponsors). Selecting Your Sessions

Use the Registering for Events with Multiple Sessions Information Sheet for an overview with images. 

1. Each participant must register for the event using their own pdEnroller account. 

   While there is an option to register more than one attendee with one account, you will not be able to register each person for different sessions. Due to this issue, we recommend each participant to register with their own account. 

2. Once you navigate to the Breakout Sessions page, select the check boxes for the sessions most appropriate for your organization type.
