These monthly roundtables offer a dedicated space for mentors who support special educators. Together, we will explore the unique mentoring needs of educators serving in these specialized roles through a lens of equity, collaboration, and professional identity. Mentors can expect a collaborative and supportive environment where they can share dilemmas of practice, deepen their coaching skills, and reflect on how to foster growth and confidence in novice educators who serve in complex and often isolated roles. If you are mentoring a novice special educator this space will help you build community and refine your practice.

Mentor Roundtable Scope and Sequence

Roundtables are ongoing opportunities for mentors who have taken Mentor Academy 101 to continue learning in community. BEST's Roundtable offerings are open invitations. Participants can attend one or all sessions of one or more Roundtables based on their needs and interests.

1. Clock hours will be calculated based on the actual amount of time participating in sessions.
2. Participants can mix and match sessions between the variety of Roundtables.
3. Clock hours will be processed in June after all sessions are concluded.
