Puget Sound ESD welcomes you to our first 2019 A Day of STEAM conference! This day will consist of opportunities to learn about climate science education, delve into the STEAM disciplines (A for Arts), and introduction to resources available to support continued learning about climate science and STEAM disciplines. Teachers will earn up to 7 STEM clock hours over an engaging keynote presentation, and two interactive breakout sessions. 

Attached here is a full description of each offering, including targeted grade bands. We encourage your to review these descriptions prior to the conference, and secure your space using the EventBrite links in the notes section below. Eventbrite registrations without prior pdEnroller registration will not be honored. Day-of session registration is on a first-come first-serve basis if space is available.

• A full refund will be granted if PSESD cancels the event
• A full refund will be granted upon participant cancellation if done so on or before 11:59pm on 8/4/19. Refunds will not be granted if the participant cancels after this date/time.

A few logistical notes:

• Clock Hours and STARS hours are available following the event
• Parking is free and ample!
• Coffee, tea and light snacks are available in the morning
• Lunch will be provided by Act 3 Catering. We'll be ordering gourmet box lunches with vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy free options. Please update your pdEnroller accounts to reflect dietary restrictions you'd like us to be aware of. 
• Please bring a refillable water bottle and/or reusable mug to help us reduce waste
• Optional: a laptop or Wi-Fi enabled device & charger
