Worried students are going to navigate into the unknown? This informative session on management solutions and applications will identify strategies for device management, investigate classroom management within the technology-enriched environment and recommend digital resources for the core subject areas in the 21st century classroom. This class will discuss use of BYOD (personal) devices as well as district-owned Chromebooks, laptops or iPads. We’ll take a look at effective classroom layouts as well as how to integrate technology into your curriculum.

This course is suitable for teachers and building administrators looking for classroom management strategies for the technology enriched and recommendations for applications that engage.  Chromebooks are provided for use during the workshop.  Participants may bring an iPad or wireless tablet to enrich participation in the course.  The conference rooms can become chilly at times; participants are encouraged to wear layers to ensure comfort.
