Teachers new to FOSS science kits will become familiar with the FOSS Teacher's Guide and the alignment of the kit with the state's science standards. Participants will learn how to effectively implement kit activities, explore strategies for management of students and materials and experience first-hand scientific inquiry at grade level. Kit trainings will include adaptations to align instruction to Next Generation Science Standards.
