Professional Development Monday's (PDMs) will focus on improvement strategies outlined within the Indistar School-wide improvement plan that will support attaining the school-wide reading and math goal, which is All East Omak Elementary students will show 1 years growth from Fall to Spring as measured by MAPs Math and Reading assessments. Professional Development Mondays will focus on the following topics: 1. Measurement of Academic Progress Assessment and Data Analysis 2. Aligning Academics through the development of Student Data Notebooks 3. Parent Involvement; Strategies for collaborating with parents 4. Co-Teaching; Working effectively with support staff to provide strategic interventions 5. Differentiated Instruction; strategies in the classroom to support all level of learners 6. Using technology to support effective instruction 7. The Leader in Me Process; Social Emotional Development 8. Grade Level Teams: Data Carousel 9. Smarter Balance Assessments; Interim, formative and summative 10. Supporting Curricular Programs: Reflex Math, Imagine Learning, Renaissance Learning & Seesaw
