Professional Development for English and Language Arts teachers in the OSD.

The purpose of this training is to provide Kindergarten teachers with an opportunity to learn more about the Wonders program. Teachers will learn how the "Write to Sources" routines support the development of genre writing. Writing practices including write about the text, shared writing, interactive writing, and independent writing will also be covered.The January training will focus on "Collaborative Conversations in the classroom. The trainings are optional. You may attend one or both of the trainings. In order to earn clock hours you must attend both of the trainings. The trainings will be held at Knox from 4:15-5:45 on December 12, 2016 and January 26, 2017.
