A self-paced, supported pathway towards integration of Google Apps into your instruction, with optional Level 1 Google Certification. ENGAGE IN PROFESSIONAL GROWTH AND LEADERSHIP, INCREASE EFFICIENCY AND SAVE TIME, FACILITATE AND INSPIRE STUDENT LEARNING AND CREATIVITY, BECOME A GOOGLE CERTIFIED EDUCATOR LEVEL 1, GET A COOL BADGE. By reading, watching videos, and completing activities, you'll learn how to integrate Google in your classroom. You can start and stop lessons at any time; Google will track your progress through the course. At the end of this course, you'll be ready to take the exam to become a Google Certified Educator Level 1. The Fundamentals training will take 12 hours, approximately. Google will track your progress. A separate tracking sheet will be provided to you to track your dates and hours for payment and clock hours. While the course is designed to prepare you for the GCE Level 1 exam, the exam is a separate process and fee and is not part of the clock hours. The $10 exam and certification process is optional and a personal expense. Up to 12 non-contract hours may be compensated with Staff Development and/or Technology PD funds and are eligible for clock hours.
