In this course participants will be introduced to the Accessibility Guidelines to be in compliance with Nationwide Standards. 

This course will introduce the following and why they are important to districts and all involved:

• Authoring Tool Accessibility Guidelines (ATAG) addresses authoring tools
• Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) addresses Web content, and is used by developers, authoring tools, and accessibility evaluation tools
• User Agent Accessibility Guidelines (UAAG) addresses Web browsers and media players, including some aspects of assistive technologies

We will then problem solve strategies with tips and tricks to support meeting accessibility guidelines on the work in a district. This will include looking at resources that can support checking materials, resources, websites, and more before putting it on the Web. 

Please note that this is just an introductory course and we will have other services available for deeper support around accessibility for districts.
