Description
NASA had a unique opportunity for medical research when identical twins Scott and Mark Kelly became astronauts. Recently, Scott Kelly completed a year in space while his twin stayed on Earth. Both were extensively monitored and studied. In this workshop, teachers will learn how the ongoing NASA Twins Study can support their classroom instruction in topics such as anatomy, heredity, and the surprising effects of “nature versus nurture” in space.
