Personalized Learning Institute at Puget Sound ESD - FINAL SESSION

Each student entering our schools brings a different set of needs and strengths. If we are going to ensure that all our children will be successful, we need to develop schools and classrooms that can adapt to these many complex differences, and provide each child the personalized learning experience they need to thrive. 

The Puget Sound Center for Personalized Learning Institute is a five-session series to provide educational leaders the opportunity to explore issues and models for developing and implementing personalized learning initiatives. These programs will connect you with experts and practitioners to help guide you in work-oriented sessions, and the five sessions together will provide a comprehensive experience to move you and your team into improved practice. Registrants will be surveyed ahead of time, and the information we collect will be used to create the most personalized learning opportunity possible.  

Topics covered in the final session will include:

Design Your Personalized Learning Classroom With Blended Learning.  Reach every student! This practical workshop taught by Daniel Johnson will provide you the guidance to begin designing your own personalized learning classroom, including models, resources, and examples of successful implementations. The program will include educators who have applied blended and personalized learning in their own classrooms and the lessons they have learned.  Daniel has been a classroom teacher and coach, and as a consultant with Education Elements has supported hundreds of schools and districts to design and implement blended and personalized learning across the country.
