This course will provide participants practical tools for teaching students how to effectively edit and revise their writing.  The presenter will also use "brief text" to introduce Shared Writing as a strategy to teach students to look critically at text.  During the course participants will have the opportunity to watch a lesson demonstrated in the classroom and time to debrief the instructional moves they observed.
