This is a two part series designed to immerse the participant in the world of NGSS.

Part 1: (Intro to NGSS)

Are you new to teaching science or new at your grade level? Do you need more exposure or a refresher to the NGSS? If you answered yes, then you are the right person to attend this session! We will spend time learning about how these standards came about and then you will get to dissect a grade/subject appropriate performance expectation. Demystify all those numbers, letters, codes and colors!

Part 2: (Intro to NGSS II)

Are you ready for a deeper dive into the NGSS?  Join us for the next step!  We will explore evidence statements:  how might they be used to inform your instruction, and resources available to plan 3 dimensional lessons and units.  We will showcase a few science and engineering activities which can be differentiated for your grade level.
