Description
This three day series will cover valuable tools that serve to prevent challenging behavior in most children, as well as tools that support children who need more instruction around social skills. We will examine both relationship and environmental strategies that present challenging behaviors, and new skills we can teach and promote with children to support new skill acquisition in the social and emotional domains.

UPDATE: This course is no longer part of a series. This event will provide early learning providers with strategies to support social emotional competence in young children and cover valuable tools that serve to prevent challenging behavior in most children. Six (6) Clock/STARS hours are available for this event (disregard 18 clock hours available in listing).
