Description

This is an asynchronous course that is part of the AESD Inclusionary Practices Project (IPP). It is one of 12 modules that will be offered this fall as a part of this project.

In this module, Social Emotional Learning for Inclusive Practice, participants will understand the promise of effective social emotional learning practices.   Educators will learn about the importance of teacher agency, as it relates to SEL instruction.  Understanding the roadblocks in social emotional learning will help participants understand how they, as educational leaders, can proactively plan to overcome barriers and support staff in change at the building level.  This module will provide leadership teams with an understanding of these concepts, and opportunities to collaborate with fellow participants.

Event Notes

This is an asynchronous course through Canvas to be completed at your own pace.

While this course ends January 31st, the Inclusionary Practices Project team will have courses available to you starting February 2022 as well!

Thank you for being a part of our project!
