Description
This is an asynchronous course that is part of the AESD Inclusionary Practices Project (IPP). It is one of 12 modules that will be offered as a part of this project. This course meets the criteria for Equity clock hour requirements for certificate renewal for certificated staff as well as Educational Leadership clock hours. OSPI has a specific focus on racial equity and family engagement which this course will address and how it relates to the course content.
In this course, Shifting Teacher Mindsets, participants will develop an understanding of the evolution of mindsets. Educators will consider how school culture impacts teacher mindsets. Identifying strategies for empowering educators to reflect on their mindsets regularly will help participants understand how they, as educational leaders, can shift teacher mindsets at the building level.
