This course is part of "ESD 105’s Ed Tech: Getting Acquainted” series, designed to help educators explore emerging tools that enhance teaching, learning, and instructional efficiency. Designed for educators across all grade levels and experience levels, this course offers practical strategies you can apply right away.


Through a series of short introductions in this course, you'll become acquainted with several AI-powered tools and platforms that support instructional planning, creativity, and productivity. You’ll explore how these tools can help you generate standards-aligned lessons, activities, and resources, then identify a best-fit tool or platform to try beyond the course. Join this course to see firsthand how these AI platforms and tools can support your work as an educator! (Participants will not need to create accounts for the AI tools or platforms; tools may include MagicSchool, SchoolAI, Diffit, Brisk, Poe, ChatGPT, ColleagueAI, Microsoft Copilot, and Google Gemini.)

    This course will introduce you to and acquaint you with several AI tools and. Creation of user accounts for the AI tools is OPTIONAL and NOT REQUIRED.

    • Clock hours are available! Participants who desire clock hours must complete all course activities as directed by the course end date and follow the clock hour process as identified within the course. This process includes completing a form within the Canvas classroom that provides attestation for course completion and requests clock hour validation.

    • Here's the clock hour validation timeline: ESD 105's clock hour validation policy states that clock hours will be validated within 10 business days after the course's conclusion. Clock hours will be validated beginning on the day after this course concludes.
