Capital Region ESD 113, in partnership with Wa He Lut Indian School and Yelm School District, is recruiting passionate educators to join our AI Learning Circle (aiLC) as part of the aiEDU Rural & Indigenous Community Catalyst Program. This initiative aims to create culturally grounded AI education that honors tribal sovereignty while preparing students for the future.

The Growing Native AI Literacy project brings together Native-serving schools to ensure Indigenous students aren't left behind in the AI revolution. Through community listening sessions, educator learning circles, and a digital storytelling platform, we're building an AI Readiness Playbook shaped by and for Native communities. We are seeking to train educators who will become AI literacy leaders in their schools, creating lesson plans that integrate traditional knowledge with emerging technology.
