Smart Data Systems for Effective and Efficient Teaching

Course Description:

This two-part series equips educators with practical tools to make MTSS targeted and meaningful rather than time-consuming. Participants will learn to streamline data analysis, assessment design, and progress monitoring while using AI to amplify (never replace) professional judgment and reduce administrative burden.

Session 1: Organizing Your Data Landscape with AI Support

🚨 Distinguish between screeners, diagnostic assessments, and progress monitoring data types with practical applications for classroom decision-making
🚨
Apply data-hygiene protocols to remove unnecessary information and maintain privacy compliance
🚨
Develop AI-assisted data organization workflows that maintain student privacy while creating actionable formats for instructional planning and decision-making

Session 2: AI-Assisted Assessment Design and Implementation

🚨 Create focused screening tools using AI prompts and the "10-10-10" framework
🚨 Establish classroom-based data norms to create meaningful benchmarks
🚨 Integrate cultural responsiveness checks to ensure assessment equity for diverse student populations
