Description
This hands-on AI lab is designed for educators who are ready to move beyond the basics of prompt engineering and into intentional, UDL-centered design. Rooted in the principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL), this session invites intermediate to advanced users to explore how AI can support inclusive instructional design, efficient professional workflows, and purposeful student learning opportunities. Participants will choose a focus area—whether aligning lessons to UDL for deeper learning, designing time-saving workflows, or planning student use grounded in standards and AI/media literacy—and receive structured support to customize and walk away with a ready-to-implement AI-powered resource.
Come prepared to collaborate, reflect, and leave with something that can be utilized right away.
Intended Audience:
- Educators who have completed an AI in Education beginner training
- Teachers, instructional coaches, tech leads, or admin with intermediate/advanced AI skills
- Those ready to design AI use cases, not just consume AI content
Note: The morning session (8:30–11:30 AM) is geared toward secondary educators; the afternoon session (12:30–3:30 PM) is designed for elementary educators. Please register for the session best suited to your role.
