Federal Way Public Schools is leading a multi-day training on the fundamentals of planning and implementing a computer science PLTW Launch STEM unit across all 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grade FWPS classes. In this training, participants will learn the cross-content pedagogy of STEM and Project-based Learning, integrating NGSS into learning, and how computer science can incorporate literacy and grade-level math/ELA standards. Participants will plan for an exciting 5th grade STEM unit.
