This 5 part series will explore the instructional framework presented in the book "Building Thinking Classrooms in Mathematics Grades K-12" by Peter Liljedahl.  Participants will experience "thinking tasks" and learn how to implement a series of practices to maximize student thinking in the classroom.

While these practices can be applied grades K-12, this particular series will have an intermediate grades focus (3-6) and will be held within the Aberdeen school district.  However, the session is open to teachers of all grade levels and is open to teachers in the great Grays Harbor and Pacific counties.
