This in-person workshop provides educators with practical teaching techniques to apply right away, positively impacting

student learning. Participants engage in an in-depth overview of the SIOP® Model and receive guidance to successfully

implement the Model in their schools and classrooms. Workshop participants collaborate over planning lessons utilizing

the SIOP® Model instructional framework – Lessons that focus on developing students’ academic language while simultaneously

making grade-level content accessible for students. Developed in collaboration with the SIOP Authors, this workshop

is aligned with the most current version of the text, “Making Content Comprehensible for Multilingual Learners.
