Description

Even the youngest students can create authentic engineering projects with the Novel Engineering approach developed by Tufts University.  Learn how to guide your students to engineering solutions based on problems in storybooks or chapter books.  Participants will engage in an example project and get resources and tips for planning their own projects based on books students are already reading.  This course will be geared towards K-8 classroom teachers, but curriculum specialists and instructional coaches, as well as high school teachers, are also welcome.

All live sessions are required.  Please plan to join the live sessions on a computer (not a phone) with speakers, camera, and microphone to allow full, active participation.

Registration fee of $25 includes a copy of "Novel Engineering, K-8," which we will ship directly to you once you have verified your mailing address.
