This will be a Re-Certification Course for those who hold a current certification (have had training within the past year). Right Response training focuses on prevention, de-escalation, and physical safety when encountering a student’s unsafe behaviors. The priority is for staff who work with students for whom there is a higher than usual risk of escalation, aggression, and the potential for injury. Because of this focus on student and staff safety, space in this class is prioritized for specific staff based on staff's current assignments and consideration of program and building need.
