Description

AI makes it very easy to take a text at any level, find the reading level, and generate it at a different grade level–but this does NOT always meet standards which require students to access grade-level texts.  How can classroom teachers and paraeducators scaffold students UP to grade level texts, rather than simply bringing the text down?  In this course, you will explore ways to leverage AI tools in ways that support student access to grade level texts, such as chunking, summarizing, translating, creating glossaries and text annotations in seconds.

You can use the AI tools of your choice for this class.  If you don’t have a favorite AI tool, we will help you choose.
