Description
During our session, we will learn about self-awareness as an essential practice for collective transformation. We will learn about and reflect on our own socio-cultural identities, power, and collective responsibility to build community while practicing humility and vulnerability.
To begin the process of creating a shared understanding and language of what equity means to our Mukilteo School District community, we will learn about and implement the following concepts:
1. Honoring our own identities
2. Exploring identities including race and ethnicity, gender and sexuality, and positionality
