This is an interactive, practice-based training focused on strategies for discussing social media, pornography, and sexting in the classroom with a focus on harm reduction. We will examine the importance of discussing these topics with students and the interconnectedness of these topics with all aspects of Comprehensive Sexual Health Education (CSHE). This training is designed to increase participants' comfort level engaging in conversations and answering student’s questions about social media and sexually explicit materials.

This training event is intended to support school district staff in meeting legislative requirements for comprehensive sexual health education as described in RCW 28A.300.475, and sex trafficking awareness and prevention education as described in RCW 28A.320.168.
